Just connect this WD TV Live box to your computer via USB (or now with this 2nd gen device, even a network of multiple computers via Ethernet thanks to on-board DNLA and Bonjour). Then hook it up to your HDTV via HDMI, and you can view movies, photos, music, YouTube, Pandora, and more. Well, you'll probably have to plug it into electricity, too. It's awesome but not that awesome. ;-)

@steveo I can't find it even listed on WD's website. Just the 1st gen WD TV HD media player and the new mini version http://www.wdc.com/en/products/index.asp?cat=30. It's also weird that this WD TV Live is brand new, but it's listed in Best Buy's outlet section and it's been removed from Amazon. They better get it out soon if they want to get some Christmas sales, or Asus is going to clean up with their O!Play http://dealzon.com/deals/asus-o-play-tv-hd-media-player-black
