This Vizio XVT3D474SV is from the same line as the XVT3D650SV that both PCMag and PCWorld give 4/5 stars. PCWorld's review title is "A Big, Beautiful 3D Set"...not a bad way to start. Performance and picture characteristics will be the same on this set.
Like many newer, higher-end Vizios, this one comes with Vizio Internet Apps that'll let you stream Netflix, Vudu, check scores, Twitter, etc. over integrated WiFi. It uses active shutter 3D glasses, so what you see is *real* HD, it's got a 480Hz refresh rate, and a pretty impressive 4ms response time.
So far as this particular TV goes, it's currently averaging 5 stars after 52 reviews on Google Products. With this model line, the apple clearly doesn't fall far from the tree.
