For the "May the Fourth Be With You" weekend, EA/Origin is having SWTOR on a big sale at $34.44. That's the digital download or the physical copy. The deluxe digital edition is also on sale. I suppose they're hard at work getting end-game content to fill up, but maybe you'll get troledl again when they offer free month of game play for level 50s and you're only level 49.9. *shrug*

That didn't take too long. SWTOR is now under the $40 mark, making anyone else buying the game earlier a sucker, and you, my friend, a winner. A winner without end-game content. Hah, kidding.

Star Wars: The Old Republic game dropped to $40 today at Amazon. Cheapest we've ever seen by $7 and $10 off the next best price online of $50.

Gotta admit after all the videos I've seen, I'm really not that excited about SWTOR. Like everyone else has been saying, its Star Wars on WoW skin. Yawn?

So what do you get when you pay more money for a Deluxe edition? You'll be able to collect 5 bones from Killik on Alderaan 5-% faster, per quest! (I'm just kidding I have no idea if there is even such a quest.) With the TOR Digital Delux Edition, you get: Flare Gun, Training Droid, HoloDancer, HoloCam, and really, the only thing that matters more next to the HoloDancer, the STAP vehicle. This slick little bad boy lets you zip around a little bit better in SW:TOR. It's like the Segway of ancient times.

Bought The Game for this price, been playing for about 2 1/2 weeks , I am a Big MMORPG player. I have Started 6 toons, 4 Empire and 2 Alliance, Too much grinding, seems vague, no real sense of accomplishment when tasks are done, No loot control in the sense that Light armor players can need on medium and Heavy armor and ninja your loot same thing with weapons, I won't renew for 30 days after the initial free 30 days, avoid if possible. Unfinished, not as bad as Diablo 3, but still feels more like a offline release with online access included.

Rumored to be one of the most expensive games ever created, BioWare's Star Wars: The Old Republic is set to release for PC on December 20, 2011 in NA and UK. Star Wars: The Old Republic occurs 300 years after the events of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. Players choose to join Galactic Republic or Sith Empire, but their character's morality will ultimately lead them to the Dark Side or the Republic's Vision. Players can also choose their species(Chiss, Human, Cyborg, Miraluka, Mirialan, Rattataki, Sith Pureblood, Twi'lek, Zabrak), class (Sumggler, Trooper, Jedi Knight, Jedi Consular, Bounty Hunter, Imperial Agent, Sith Warrior, Sith Inquisitor) and play style (ranged or melee). Other player choices and customizations throughout the game will also change the way they interact with NPCs and how the whole storyline proceeds.
