The latest expansion to Sims 3 was released in October 18, 2011 in North America. Sims 3: Pets adds a new town called Appaloosa Plains, and bring in new stores and shops, along with the buildings available in the base game. More additions from this pack include new designs for rabbit holes, laser pointers for cats, magical unicorns, dogs that can swim, and a pet store for your pet's needs. Pets also have varying life spans and can only die of old age. Traits can be set to fit the traits of your sims.
