For some reason Amazon is only discounting the PS3 version, so the Xbox Silent Hill fans will have to wait a tad bit longer. Game will be released on 10/25/2011.
The 8th installment to the Silent Hill series of survival horror video games, Silent Hill: Downpour will be released in October 2011. Originally titled Silent Hill 8, Downpour features combat, puzzle-solving, and side-quests. Players take on half-dead creatures using a single breakable melee weapon or an occasional access to firearms. Players assume the role of prisoner Murphy Pendleton, who survives from a prison vehicle accident. The plot is set in the unexplored southeastern area of Silent Hill.
