So is this a refurbished unit? I don't see anything indicating that like the E-PL1 has in the description. Thanks.

Lowest price we've ever seen on this refurb Olympus PEN Interchangeable Lens camera, and it's a whopping $310 less than the next best price. Takes good pictures and looks pretty good itself, too.

Yesterday's top deal on this Olympus Interchangeable lens digital camera is still valid. Comes bundled with a 14-42mm lens at a very attractive price for this refurbished model. Usually anywhere around $300 to $400 depending on condition.

**UPDATE** I called Cameta Camera at the start of business today 1/19 to find out for certain. They verified that they've received my order and that it DOES IN FACT come with the 14-42mm Lens. To reiterate, I ordered with through Buy.com (order sourced by Cameta) as originally posted by Dealzon.

hey bsr123, really appreciate you coming back to clarify for us. I checked the links you gave and re-examined Buy.com's listing too and its clear the 14-42mm lens is there (though a frontal shot of the camera didn't really help address that). I checked with Cameta Camera too and they've verified it comes with the 14-42mm Lens. Thanks again ;)

No problem. Excited about my new camera. Thanks for the post!

Not sure why we listed this with the lens (if the deal changed midway through the day or something) or we just screwed up. I've fixed the listing for now while I investigate, sorry for the confusion guys.

same price on sears (standard price no sale so if you have coupons you beat it). http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_SPM6028810701P?sid=IDx20101019x00001a&ci_src=14110944&ci_sku=SPM6028810701

Note: The sears item is a "marketplace" item just like Buy.com-- both are provided by the retailer Cameta Camera. Also, I'm guessing you're likely to pay sales tax if you go through Sears, which can be avoided by going to Buy or Cameta directly. However this post does give me hope that the Buy.com deal does in fact include the lens as well (I purchased it there through the Discover card rewards site and shaved off another $8)

Any verification that it comes with the 14-42mm Lens? I don't see it in the listing.

as stated below, I think we screwed up the listing and it doesn't come with the 14-42mm lens (at least not in the particular deal we linked to at Buy.com) - sorry for the confusion

FYI...this camera DOES NOT come with a lens...it is a body only. The one with the lens is $259. http://www.buy.com/prod/olympus-pen-e-pl1-12-3-megapixel-mirrorless-camera-14-mm-42-mm-blue-2/214398361.html?sellerId=18752638

That item is the New model- the model discussed here is refurbished
reply
this says lens included, but no mention of it on buy.com. ???
reply
looks like we might have screwed up and listed it with the lens (though usually its very obvious when its body-only). I'm checking history to see if Buy.com changed the deal, which has happened before.

I don't know if this means anything, but if you go directly to the *actual* seller's site, you can purchase the camera directly from them (it's a "marketplace" item)- they sell the camera in 2 flavors, both refurbished, one with the lens, one without. The price offered on Buy.com lines up with the price for which the sell the unit PLUS the lens ($229). The body alone is substantially cheaper($179.95). http://www.cameta.com/index.cfm?fa=display.search&page=1&keywords=pl1
