I have had my Mitsubishi DLP for about a year now, and do many many hours of gaming on it from consoles or my pc. Have not had to replace bulb yet. But even if i do, these bulbs are pretty inexpensive. They can be had for as little as $135.00.

I heard that the lamps go out way too fast on these DLP.
I have a slightly older Mitsubishi 60" DLP. Running for about a year now without needing a new bulb, and this was the display model. About $100 per bulb direct from Mitsubishi.
