Lenovo's IdeaPad U350 aims to strike a balance between features, performance, portability, and price. You'll get a thin and light computer that can handle all the standard computing tasks and play streaming video on Hulu and Netflix for a low price. If thin and lightweight is what you want, and you can live without an internal CD/DVD drive, check the U350 out.
Inside you'll find Windows 7 running on either an Intel Pentium Dual Core or Intel Core 2 Duo processor. The 13.3-inch LED backlit display has a resolution of 1366x768 giving it support for 720p HD video and has a 1.3 megapixel webcam above it. Upgrade to a maximum of 4GB of RAM and 320GB hard drive. Like most thin and light laptops, the U350 does not have a CD/DVD drive.
HDMI and VGA ports are included along with 3 USB 2.0 ports, WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1, 10/100/1000 ethernet, audio in/out, and 4-in-1 media card reader all inside a 3.52 pound package with an advertised battery life of up to 5 hours on the 4-cell battery and 10 hours on the 8-cell battery.

Amazon has the Lenovo Ideapad U350 13.3-inch Intel ULV Laptop deal for the cheap low price of $499.99.
CNet called the Ideapad U350 "Lenovo's MacBook in terms of design" and also said, "The tucked-out-of-sight internal speakers are also amazingly loud, much louder than we'd expect for a machine this size."
