Stellar price on the popular and practical ThinkPad T420i after coupon, which brings it down to lowest price ever. Lenovo currently shows the same laptop for $711 but we found a cheaper setup with T420i coupon for $647. New mid-2011 2.3Ghz i3-2350M is 200Mhz faster than previous i3-2310M that we're used to seeing. 4GB of RAM and easy upgrade to a fast SSD or bigger hard drive.

This is one of Lenovo's best selling 14-inch class business laptop and while its not as slim as the T420s version, you get better battery life, especially from the 9-cell option (8 hours and more easily on basic computer usage scenario). Edit: You can opt for the 320GB HD to save another $40! Might as well do that and put it towards a future SSD upgrade.

This is the cheapest we've seen yet on the slimmer version of the T420, which gets you a very solid, rigidly built 14-inch ThinkPad that's under 4 lbs.
