I am not sure I understand TERRIBLE since it is very common for a 15.6 to have this resolution. Are you saying TERRIBLE that this particular screen is poor compared to others of the same resolution?
I have a feeling Joe just wants a higher resolution display. While 1366 is pretty standard these days, I'm actually in agreement that its a pretty low resolution. But for this particular laptop its not exactly terrible. The contrast probably could be better but all around its a pretty average/normal display panel. I recommend you head to YouTube and search a bit for "Y570 display" to get an idea of how it is, or head to a Fry's Electronics or Microcenter (if you have one near you) and check the laptop out there.
Do keep in mind that the screen in this laptop is TERRIBLE. 15.6" with 1366x768 resolution. In a $669 laptop you won't find anything better, but you should look elsewhere if you're considering a higher priced Y570 model. Do not buy any Y570 models that cost more than this one does.

This GT 555 is actually more like the Gt540. Its the bottom level configuration of the GT555. Just so people understand

2nd Gen 2.2 Ghz Core i7 for $799? That's umpossible! Anytime you can get a quad-core i7 laptop for under $800, WITH a solid mid-range GPU (GT 555M), you win in life. Slap in a SSD in the future on this Y570 and you're good to go.
