Lenovo's G550 is a budget based laptop primarily aimed at business use due to its inclusion of a right side numeric keypad. You're not going to get the fastest laptop here, but you will get a good business laptop with enough power to do all the basics. If you just want a low cost Windows laptop to browse the web, run office, and balance the books the lowest model will do. If that sounds good but are willing to spend a little more to get something a little faster, you can upgrade the processor to an Intel Core 2 Duo.
The 15.6-inch display has a resolution of 1366x768, is LED backlit, and powered by an integrated Intel graphics chip. If you want to play the latest and greatest PC video games you will want to take a look at a different laptop like Lenovo's Y550 with an upgraded graphics chip.
