Batman: Arkham Asylum is an action-adventure video game released in August 2009.  This third-person perspective game allows the player to take on the role of Batman and perform stealth moves to fend Joker and other enemies.  In this video game, Batman can glide from heights using his cape, and use the grapple gun to ascend quickly.  Set in the Arkham Asylum, Batman seeks out his enemies with his new detective mode, and new gadgets such as the Batarang and the Batclaw.

Well received by critics and gamers, the game scored 92 out of 100.
