Amazon dropped their price on the Apple iPod Shuffle (newest 4th gen) to $39.99, which ties the lowest price they had in the rush to sell stuff at Christmas. Next best deal is $45 at Walmart.com but with sales tax that's about $48. As of this morning Amazon had all 5 colors to choose from as part of the iPod Shuffle sale.

Rare price drop for Apple products. Amazon has the newest iPod Shuffle for only $41, free shipping. Next cheapest is $48, and many stores (including Apple Store) just sell it for $49 + tax.

Better off getting the 4GB version, but this is a great music player that just feels like it's part of your headphones.
