Not already an AT&T customer and looking for a new phone? Well, today may be the day as AT&T is offering all of their phones for only $0.01 with no activation fee ($36 savings) and free 2-day shipping from Amazon.
Unfortunately the offer isn't good for contract extensions, netbooks, prepaid phones, or apparently the iPhone as it's not listed. Why AT&T? Why?!?!?!
Oh, also it's good for today only.
61 phones available in this offer. Here are some notable phones and their current prices at AT&T.com. And that's after mail-in rebates! Amazon's deal is all instant savings. No hassle with mailing in rebates to save extra money.

The iPhone isn't the end-all-be-all. There's some pretty good phones in there. Too bad I'm already an AT&T customer.

If AT&T had service in my area, I'd get that Sony Ericsson with the 8 megapixel cybershot camera. I don't understand how people think that phones with 1 or 2 megapixel cameras are really full replacements for carrying separate phone and camera devices.

I'm torn between getting a Blackberry pearl (for the smaller size) or a Curve or Bold for the full one-letter-per-key keyboard. What should I get???

@jackdarippa: Actually, megapixels don't matter so much as lens and sensor quality. You can have an 8 megapixel camera on your phone that shoots horrible images. Don't expect the same quality as a dedicated point-and-shoot. That said, the images are certainly better than a razor or other early camera phones. http://news.softpedia.com/news/Sony-Ericsson-C905-Review-105664.shtml

Dude, Forrest, you should get a BlackBerry Bold. You'll thank yourself for having the full keyboard. I have a Curve through Verizon (and wish I could get a Bold b/c it has a nicer screen, but they don't have it) and it's actually a pretty good size for carrying around in your pocket with no problems.
