The Acer Aspire One D250 is Acer's attempt at a budget netbook (but with an LED backlit display!). It uses Intel's Atom processor and Intel's integrated graphics - both of which are very typical for netbooks because they are electrically efficient. This technology, though slow is designed to maximize battery life and regardless what "big box retail" employees tell you, these Netbooks will play online flash videos just fine (Hulu, Netflix, etc..).
The Acer Aspire One D250, also known as AOD250 is the latest iteration of the Acer Aspire One. Compared to the AOD150, the AOD250 is thinner and lighter but the specifications haven't changed.
There are always new and cheaper deals for the AOD250 because it's such a high volume seller (check this page regularly). There are also a lot of small variations in AOD250 model numbers but have no visible specification difference (but sometimes color difference).
